At the 20th anniversary of 9/11, I read the names and honored my grandfather's name at the memorial.
After honoring those lost on 9/11 down at the memorial, I also interviewed FOX61, a local news station in Connecticut, to share my experience and my grandfather's story. In the interview, the interviewer also asked about current global and political events surrounding 9/11.

Veteran's Day 2022, I had the incredible opportunity to interview WXII 12 Triad CW, where I was standing in front of the “God. Family. Country” display made of steel from the remains of the WTC. I felt so honored knowing my late grandfather, BC Lawrence T. Stack, a US Navy veteran and a hero who lost his life during the 9/11 attacks, is never forgotten. I was proud to welcome over 1,200 veterans and their families to High Point University’s annual Veterans Day Celebration. I couldn’t have asked for a more rewarding way to spend my Friday morning than cheering for, applauding, and thanking Veterans for their service to our country.

A screenshot of the story I pitched to a local newspaper in High Point, North Carolina, to share my family and I's story with the High Point community ahead of the 20th anniversary of September 11th. I had a joint interview with Staff Writer, Paul Johnson and Harris Goldstein, another 9/11 child.

Sales Experience
In the Fall of 2023 and Spring of 2024, I had the opportunity to work at the High Point Furniture Market with Four Hands. During this time, I greeted buyers, maintained the showroom, and assisted the sales representatives with their appointments. These responsibilities helped me strengthen and demonstrate my leadership, customer service, sales, and networking skills.

During the Spring 2024 Semester, I participated in cold calls using Slate and the Admissions Database to reach out to admitted students, informing them about upcoming scholarship opportunities and orientations to become an incoming freshman!
